  1. Place popped corn in a double thickness paper bag.  Put brown sugar, syrup, oleo and salt In heavy saucepan, bring to boil.  Let boil for 5 minutes, remove from heat and add soda.  Pour mixture over popped corn.  Shake till well coated. Fold sack over and put in microwave on full power for 1 1/2 minutes.  Shake well. Repeat this two more times, then spread out to cool.  If using conventional oven, bake at 200 degrees for 1 hr stirring every 15 minutes.
