Ingredients: 1 1/2 c raisins; 1 c sugar; 2 eggs; 1 tsp cinnamon; 1 tsp nutmeg; 1 tsp cloves; 1 tsp vinegar; 1 c sour cream; 1/8 tsp salt

This was always my dad's birthday 'cake'.

Ingredients

1 ¹⁄₂ c raisins
1 c sugar
2 eggs (well beaten)
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp cloves
1 tsp vinegar
1 c sour cream
¹⁄₈ tsp salt

Instructions

Boil raisins in a little water until soft. Beat the eggs, then add all other ingredients and mix well. Fill 2 8” pie shells. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
